I like the was Damon stays true to character and doesn't just change into a softie after a couple of chapters. You have his character just right and it makes the story enjoyable and believable. No offence to other authors but this was the story that drew me in, characters in character, and no marysue in sight. The new characters are great, you are great at writing the other characters (they are in character), and the new and different direction you're going in is so interesting! I want to know what happens next; you have kept my interest and have me excited for more :) I love a character with an accent, every now and then ;) I like how you have developed Mason and Pearl even more, through this new direction you're going in, and the hallucinations make me remember that more is going on than what I know (or think I know).
