Aww...I don't know why you thought you shouldn't publish this, I think it's really great! I especially liked the angstshipping parts because I thought you did Malik's characterization really well.

I have to say, for something so short and simple, lots of emotions were packed into it, a good job well done. I applaud for you excellence. J-just plain sweet at the end~ How angst-y it was at first, and then it just ended all fluffy, perfect. :3 Not lots of authors can turn something so sad into something so warm-hearted like you, I just love you for it~

Honestly, when I saw the two characters involved and the generes, I thought it was going to be angsty Tendershipping or something of the like, so the way things actually turned out surprised me (in a good way).
I like that you highlighted the pretty vast differences between Ryo and Bakura's ideals; Bakura's bitterness and Ryo's loneliness were described well.
Biased as I am, I like that you slipped Amane in there as well. .
Heh heh...very cute ending. Much happier than I thought it would be. I still teeter on the precipice of Darkshipping conversion...
