The Everest-class dreadnought has fires a slug every 5 secound, each slug hits with 38 kilotonnes of TNT, that means 760 kiltonnes a minute if they hit with everything.

The Thanix cannon rivals a cruisers firepower, meaning the Normandy should have around half that, disruptor torpedos I'm not sure of the yields, but seeing that Mass acclerators are the main weapons, I assume they are weaker than the main cannons, if not, why use cannons instead of mass missiles?

A Ha'tak has 60 staff cannons that fire 200 megatonnes a shot, Anubis was able to upgrade Ha'taks to a level where they overwhelmed a Biliskner-class asgard ship, that is superior to the Ha'tak that the 200 megatonnes figure is taken from.

The Everest-class dreadnought would have to fire for almost 4 and a half minute (263 secounds) to equal one Ha'tak shot in power. And if my math is correct, with a thanix cannon, it would take almost 10 minutes (578 secounds) to yield 200 megatonnes.

All this leads me to my belief that a Disruptor torpedo is not able to destroy shields that are capable of withstanding 12 hits form another Ha'tak. (115 minutes of nonstop fire from a Thanix cannon) If this was the case, then ME canon would be completly different.

TL;DR
One hit from a Disruptor torpedo is apparantly equal to almost 2 hours of constant fire from a Thanix cannon according to this fic, and I find this highly suspect.

why would it take 2 hrs to get to earth when they are in Sol? We see in the open credits if ME1 that the Normandy can fly from Earth to Pluto in minutes if not less. Likewise in Mass Effect 3 the fleet moves from Pluto to earth in minutes, they didn't arrive in Sol and say "ok everyone, 2 hrs until the fight starts". EDI can't be that bad of a pilot can she?

I keep seeing fanfics giving mass effect ships really slow ftls to the point where it would take months to get between neighbouring star systems which is clearly not the case in in the games. Stargate tech is more advanced than ME tech, you don't need to nerf ME any further

The Normandy would be crushed by SG tech, even Reapers wouldn't survive a fight with a Ha'tak.

very good story so far , so the damned Reapers have appear in the SG universe , i hope that the asgard arrive soon to deal with it . Cant hardly wait for the next chapters .

It wasn't terrible, but there was a major plot hole that I haven't seen anyone else mention that sank it for me.

Basically EDI tells Shepherd that they have traveled back in time to the 21st century. By which point in the humans of mass effect hadn't even built spaceships yet, much less contacted the council.

But Shepherd seems to act like it's the most natural thing in the world that they would know all about the council and the alliance. And in fact says that the location of Earth is public knowledge. Even though at that point in time the council didn't even know humans existed.

If she had asked General Hammond who they were, and why they had a ship. It would have made sense. But as it is she acts as if she's confronting some unknown ship while orbiting her own Earth. When clearly that isn't the case.

Why was this story abandoned? It's quite good.

Well it's a pity that this story was dropped right as it got juicey. I was quite enjoying it. Anyway, thanks for posting it would be nice to see a conclusion one day. A reaper should scare the piss out of everyone.
