I like most of it, but there were what felt like a few loose threads (what happened to each captain - did they die, or go into self-exile, etc. - What happened to the Central 46 members that put Ichigo away? Who was responsible for the sham of a trial?). There were also a couple of pieces of dialogue that were odd, like when Byakuya said, "She doesn't want to see any of you." I get that it's short and was used to deliver how much Ichigo was hurt by the rest of them, but I feel that there was better dialogue available. And this scene ties into my last point a bit... I think there were a couple of scenes that were skipped. Some stuff that I would have like to been shown instead of told. For example: Being able to see the interactions between Ichigo and the other captains, instead of it being skipped for the "I do" moment. (In all fairness, I have a tendency to skip stuff like that too - it's a habit I'm trying to fix with an unpublished story I'm working on). But other than a few things like that, it's a good and entertaining read, and certainly deserves a (let me quote this in good fun - I genuinely laughed when I saw this) "REVIEW! REVIEW! REVIEW! Also, I enjoyed the time skips, but could you tell us how long they are in the future? Other than that, what happened to her family? Did they miss her? Where is her body? Just a bunch of questions, but overall the story was good. |
