I've really enjoyed reading (up to ch. 7 so far, and still going of course) your story!

I like the detail that you put into considering and describing the technology of the times. Particularly fascinating was the suit/armor tech. Though one thing that didn't make sense for me there (though would be perfect for Tali) is having the suit give tactile signals of feeling back to the wearer (particularly because it's armor and being protected from feeling seems more ideal). However the improved reactions and clarity are awesome! And I really like Sam's comparison to magic there.

I enjoy not really knowing about Shepard's future possible mating. I loved how she had a drunken one nighter with Alenko and how she rejected his clinging.

I like how she finds herself attracted to a 'non-human' and how she is still not in an active pursuit of Liara.

I hope Tali's crush comes out in this, I think it's sweet and cute and I always feel bad that Tali doesn't seem to get her girl.

The Miranda story is really an enjoyable element, I like that Cerebrus (spelling?) doesn't know about their AI infiltrating a new host :D I look forward to Miranda and Shepard meeting, and think that I could really enjoy a multi-pairing story here (with Shep/AI, Shep/Miranda, Shep/AI/Miranda, Shep/AI/Liara, etc. (though never really found Ash/Shep as an attractive pairing).

I like your Shepard, she seems to fill the role of commander well, without being a dictator or too chummy with the crew. Her back-story is nice and I also like her distance and obvious lack of relationships. I am tired of Shepard being much of the aggressor in stories, so this more tame and likely needing of a push version is a welcomed version which I personally find more relatable.

I just read your story and i have to say it is very intriguing. I love stories involving AI and it is one of the most exciting things to read about when it is done in a story that is well written and charactorized. I do not know if you are going to continue this story, but if you do you already have one eager reader waiting for it )

I find this story extremely interesting and hope to see more of it. I'm definitely expecting an increased biotic ability given the likely drastic improvement from a simple software in an L3 implant to an AI.

I love stories with AI interactions and find this one to be quite unique.

A Thresher Maw? That's going to make for quite the action sequence in the next chapter. I wonder what the AI's affect on Shepard's biotics will be?

For Thresher Maws, you need only one formula for how much ammunition you need: P Plenty.

Ok, so Allice *does* understand urgency.. eventually :) Poor Sheppard, all frozen in bad memories.

In game biotics were somewhat hard to use against Thresher Maws, they move to damn much and hide underground. Theorectically the Normany could prolly bomb the critter out existence. Though killing it up close is more fun.

Based on Samantha's previous encounter with Threshers they have a longer action range then I expected, including forests. Does that mean Garrus in the Mako is danger as well?

The last part reads like a sloooowed-down-attack-moment, nice. It's somewhat frustrating in that you'd want to tell Samantha to hurry up and frakking DO something... but that's probably as intended :)

Heh, I can just imagine a discussion on the topic 'why not to create an IA' between Tali and Miranda, ought to be fun.

Good story. Alice is likable and different; everyone seems to be in character... but not having played the games I got no chance of spotting non-canon characters or overt OOC behavior.

RvB references are always funny and you did it well while keeping the story serious, not an easy thing to do given the rather non serious nature of RvB
