Thanks for the story! :D The plot was very unique, I've never read anything like it. It really hurt to see Arthur like that but the end totally made up for all the drama and angst. I love the way you portrayed the countries too: always doing their best to help an ally in need (especially Alfred, the POOR boy). Thanks again!

Ohhh poor Matthew I read this a lotta fanfic ago so I feel like I can't give it a completely accurate review other than to say it was really good. Oh Shit this was the one with the "pirates" and England's civil war, Fuck I remember this now. Yeah you did a really good job. Not that I would take matters into my own hands like the pirates did but I always have been curious about the kind of things the pirates were, if the country personifications did exist. Does the country make the people or do the people make the country? Like is Alfred blue eyed because of him or because of his people? Does he have certain thought, feelings, etc because his people have them or do the people have them because the country has them? If someone wounds a country will it wound their people? It's obvious when their people get wounded *cough cough nine eleven cough cough* the country gets wounded so maybe the country is a reflection of the people and not the other way around. Yeah that would make sense because without the people there would be no country. Like during the revolutionary period Alfred (this us fanon so if you disagree I'm cool with that) felt conflicted because he still loved Britain (the loyalists were loyal to Britain) but he wanted his freedom (because of the revolutionaries). But seriously though, I've read certain fics that say when countries do the do it stains the other on the people, like cultural wise. If this is the case then dayum America! I'm sorry usually my reviews are like a lot better (albeit just as long) but I'm super tired and yeah. Just, you did a really good job and I hope you continue to write.

Hmm this seems pretty interesting so far. I like seeing all the nation's personalities playing in one of those familiar crime/thriller plots. But since it's a nation AU, I kind of wished there was a bit more backstory between Arthur and Alfred. Not the whole "Once upon a time America was a colony, but when he grew up he had all this drama with England" story. But a little detail to how he feels toward England in the present and why would have helped the first chapter. I felt his freaking out when Arthur was missing was just a little bit cheesy.

Oh no, England hates humans now. It kinda has that dramatic back and forth thing, which makes it impossible to point one side as the enemy. I like that, because it keeps things from being oversimplified as black and white. Humans can be evil, but maybe nations can too.

when I read the tidbit about the Chinese Water Torture, I was all like, 'aww yea. Yao's gettin' it awn!' is it wrong to think that I kinda like it when Yao gets all violent like this? cuz if it is, I dunn crrr! XDD
