This was a good story, and I think you accurately portrayed Toothless's thoughts and point of view through this telling of How To Train Your Dragon. Great job on this story! I'm Still Here: Hiccup's Tale was magnificent, as well. Fantastic job on both stories!

That story was just brilliant! That was the best story I’ve ever read on here with Toothless’ POV! Amazing job! :D

I loved this. I read somewhere that the producers of the movie did have a script for Toothless on what he would say in some scenes to help the animators define his actions/sounds/emotions. I think that some parts of this story were straight from that script.

Also, you seem to fix an inconsistency with Astrids first meeting with Toothless (i.e. she was in the cove before Hiccup, so how did Toothless not notice her). The epilogue extension was pretty good as well. I think the part with Toothless mother could have been omitted though.

is the arm that the dragon was having trouble with Gobber's?

Maybe Toothless's bones weren't broken in the fall.
