THANKS! :) This one-shot always reminds me of something I should have long since learned by now, but still have difficulties with all the time: Living in the moment. Letting go of the past, rather than allowing past mistakes to haunt you even in the present. It's something Seneca, one of my favourite Latin authors, teaches, and yet I seem to be unable to adhere to the notion, especially when I am under a lot of stress. Reading this reminds me that it's the small, unimportant moments that matter, so long as you take the time to see their value. It's good to think of that right now. :) Otherwise, I end up like Ahsoka, lying awake with my mind unable to shut down, as I did tonight. Not a pleasant experience, having past mistakes intrude on your thoughts all the time when you're trying to go to sleep.

I've finally started reading TaFS - let's hope I make some headway with it. Though, admittedly, I still enjoy your one-shots the most - small tidbits that brighten my mind. Thus, if you ever feel like writing some scenes like this one - please do! I'll definitely read them.

Wow - what a wonderful story! I really enjoyed this - there's not a lot of Obi-Wan/Ahsoka friendship fics but you wrote thier friendship perfectly.

Awww, this is lovely. The characters were extremely well-written and the Obi-Wan/Ahsoka interaction is some of the best I've seen. A simple premise that became a beautiful story.

I prefer the fermented version, actually... you know, black tea. ;-)
Well done! I like the idea of Ahsoka and Obi-Wan taking a quiet moment away from Anakin and just enjoying a cup of tea. ;-) People don't write about Obi-Wan and Ahsoka as just friends often enough. They make such a dynamic team, though their strengths lay in similar directions... Ah well. I'll savor short stories of Obi-Wan and Ahsoka as often as I can get them. ;-)

You can tell from the start this will not be a typical night for Ahsoka, especially when she's so insomniac that she actually goes someplace barefoot.

Her second-guessing of her actions in response to orders, I think, accurately portrays the second-guessing we all do when the outcome doesn't go the way we hoped.

The wrinkling of her nose upon her first sip is cute... definitely conveys how her first taste was not what she thought it might , she chose to continue and see that first impressions may not always be what they seem.

Hopefully, she's gained a better appreciation for the finer things in - and quiet moments of - life.

I really like the way you had them interact with each other and i can totally see obi-wan drinking tea.

I always thought there was something strictly British about Obi-Wan. I do know that British bloke have tea time as well. But now that I read this, I can see the Japanese influence. I very much enjoyed reading this. The first time I had green tea I hated the foul taste. After reading this, I have decided to give it another try.

I really enjouyed this and I do see Obi-Wan as the kind to take time just to sit and enjoy tea. Mmmm tea, Gold blend, lots of milk, no sugar. Oh, I'd love a good cuppa now :)

Ahsoka's hesitance at first is sweet, and very understandable; though he's her master's master, he's still on the council- Master Kenobi.

It's an important lesson, to be sure, especially for Ahsoka here, to learn from your experiences and mistakes but not let that overtake you - I love how you have Obi-Wan handle it here, and the fact that he does it over tea is perfect :D
