There's so much poetry in this, just in the way they love each other and the way they speak and the way they move. It makes my heart leap that they're together and it makes my heart break that one day she's going to die.

I feel awfully sentimental right now, which means that as a writer you've succeeded - you've made me feel emotion. You should be proud of that. This is a truly great story - I loved the language, the atmosphere, the characters. Wonderful work.

This story warms my poor BK heat. I love it. It might even be my favourite of all your stories so far! So sweet and beautiful, and the banter was great! I especially loved Bartimaeus' stubborn insistance that she isn't going to die. I love how poetic and emotional your stories are.
