I'm an absolute sucker for a good outside POV story, and this was so much fun I can barely stand it! John in action mode, plus tech mode was great. I love stories where he has to win over the newbies, and this was a likable newbie to be sure.

I think this is one of my all-time favourite SGA fics!
The setting is fantastic, the dialogue is perfect, the action made my heart pound and the characterisations were brilliant. I love this fic with a passion. I came here for Lorne, but I adored Teldy's POV and the way you wrote her.

This should have been an episode.

This is a galloping good read - I started and never looked back. A great look at the trust and interdependence that characterized the Atlantis personnel, which I found to be one of the key reasons I enjoyed the series so much.

Awesome story! I loved your Anne and the outsider's look at Sheppard. I loved all the cold weather (frigid) survival details you added. Very cool stuff! (no pun intended ;-)

Wow-great story! I love stories with a strong narrative line, which this certainly had. You also did a good job on the characterization, both Sheppard, whom we've come to know well, and Teldy, whom we never did see much.

You also worked the story in with show continuity really well. Excellent!

I loved how you showed Teldy struggling through the change of command when one comes to Atlantis

and the end when she finally gets her own team!

I hesitated on reading this for a long time then decided today as to "why the hell not". Now I'm kicking myself for not reading it sooner. Not only it's yet another great Shep-whump fic, the history you've created for Teldy reflects greatly off of what we've learned about her in "Whispers."

And it featured Lorne in a big role too, to which I am a slight sucker for (hey, the guy is awesome in my books). Again, great job and I'm hoping you'll publish more of these "short" stories. _

Though if it's not too much trouble, can I request a Sheppard and Lorne centric story some time in the near future - those two key off of each other and work really well as the CO and 2IC.
