I liked the way you added words from both languages as another difference between them. "One, yet two". And Yami's description on how each of them is a part of the other worked well too. Depending on who has the lead for the day, right?

Oooh, we're delving into the past. Poor Shadow doesn't remember anything, but Yuugi and I both are glad he has some light in his existence again...though of course, it'll be interesting when Yuugi realizes just exactly who killed Haruti. Also interested to see if Professor Hopkins is going to reveal anything other than what we expect. Do we have a game-changer coming up?

I like the slow build up of the "physical", the intimate side of their relationship with the cool shadow touches. "Soft touches over his skin; he had the distinct impression of being... nuzzled. A blush painted his cheeks." So cute, and a wonderful way to demonstrate how connected they already are. 3

The only thought I had was "Yami has absolutely no sense of boundaries with other people." I can just imagine him hugging and kissing Yugi like it was a perfectly normal show of affection - disturbing those that can see him in the process.

I do wonder what Professor Hopkins is going to find, though. Wouldn't have Sugoroku have translated it already?

Yami is awesome, but poor Yugi, having to see those pictures and be questioned by the police. Sometimes you just want to cuddle him. At least Jii-chan isn't ignorant of what's going on with Yugi.

What did I tell you? The bastard got his coffin nailed shut, for good. Now it's Kaiba's turn. I want to see how it turns out with him. But it was really interesting, what happened to Jou. But what about the others in the gang? Except for Honda, the others had a hand in Yugi's beating.

Did those guys just cut off Yugi's hair? But on the other hand . . . I loved the flashback. I love the idea of Yami watching over Yugi even as a child in the crib, and even now, while's he's in the hospital.
