Or did you mean white gold? And how the heck is a heart going to be teardrop shaped? The point of a teardrop is on the top and the point of a heart is on the bottom. Any Beta reader worth their salt should have suggested you to rewrite the sentence as “a silver and gold necklace with a heart shaped ruby pendant”. Next time get out a jewelry catalog and use their descriptions. They do it for a living. Sorry to be harsh but your words should create a picture for the reader not a puzzle for them to decipher.

I agree with all your comments but one. Movie Hermione was extra pretty. But her character didn’t change. But conventional pretty never beats character or brains. It makes sense Hermione grew up to be so attractive. I also see her as biracial, which in Magic world doesn’t seem to matter.

I despised Ginny after she told Harry going after Voldemort was his “thing.” She clearly saw BWL not Harry. Nor was she particularly bright. Also I don’t see shared possession (trauma) as good basis for relationship, especially without help. Adding kids just makes it worse.

I can’t even begin to discuss Hermione and Ron without burning through curse words. It seemed an act of self-harm since JKR claims she modeled Hermione on herself. I doubt the claim. Hermione is way brighter and had a mindset for justice. JKR only she assumes does (MEOW)

Ron is a waste of space after book 3. It should have been Neville as best friend.
