I've only just found this fan fiction site about six months ago. I've been trying to get my wife to read some with me.

This is the only story she has read.

We still quote it. Every episode when Casey is on screen.

I'm glad that you, like myself, can not excuse the travesty that was Season 3, but you have, in my opinion, written an epicly hilarious and in character snippet from the future that Season 3 could have lead to. Beth was adorable and Casey is...Casey...and you nailed him.

The shows writers made Chuck and Sarah make a lot of mistakes over the 3 seasons, most of them in the last one. Of those half of the ones Chuck made seemed so out of character is almost seemed forced just so they would be equally culpable and not have everyone screaming that it's Sarah's fault they are in such a mess, though she had a couple of OC mistakes too to go along her her myriad in character ones (telling Shaw her name being probably the biggest OC event in canon yet).

I like your generalized explainations though; Chuck of course takes more blame than he's due in his response (alongside some points that were genuinely his fault) and Sarah shows somewhat how Chuck has rubbed off on her in the last 15 years with the way she phrases things here ("messed up in the head" is a much more Chuck like expression). Overall you captured the heart of their tortured romance and allowed us to laugh at it a little courtesy of a snarky uncle and a too sweet for words newly adolescent girl (rather than the wailing and gnashing of teeth I currently undergo when I look bad at the horrors of season 3). Thank you for that.

This was really good. You captured John Casey. I have to agree with the other reviews, his immitation of Sarah and Chuck was great.

Oh, my god. I love john casey. I mean it. I could totally imagine this scene happening in 15 years. You portrayed them really well.

Aw! Casey is SO a softy, no matter how much he tries to deny it! A little Charah baby! So cute!

"I wuv you, Sarah. Can't you just forget your job and wuv me back?" Then his voice got even higher, "I wuv you, too, Chuck, but I'm all damaged, and besides, it would be wrong." He rolled his eyes. "Moan, moan, moan, whine, whine, girly feelings all over the place, and look, is that a pretty brunette? Oh look, is that a muscular coworker? Beth, your parents were morons." That was just hilarious! And totally true!
