I really liked this but I think I would have liked the ending better if the bullies had returned to Berk saying that a Night Fury attacked them and had eaten Hiccup, just to find a day later that Hiccup had returned safely saying that he had seen no dragon. Then everyone in Berk would think the bullies were crazy because a Night Fury would have certainly killed them and after that they would never bully Hiccup again

That was the CUTEST thing I have ever read. Toothless can be very protective and he has every right to be, being the the dragon of a very weak and small hatchling. Hiccup is so lucky to have him by his side.
