I fell in love with it. All 10 chapters were really well-written and kept me hooked like a fish on bait. I especially loved reading about Fuji's development as Rikkai's team pushed him towards new heights - but his interactions (and bonding) with them was just as enjoyable a read, and Seigaku's scenes were really touching as well.

Haha, if this goes on, I think I might just take an eternity trying to dish out as much praise as this story is worth. It's just...this is so, so awesome! I know it's been forever since you last updated (and I really don't have any right to say this) but this story has too much potential to be left hanging *hint hint*

I just wanted you to know that even though it's been a year and a half since you've updated that there are still readers out there who would be absolutely thrilled if you returned to this story.

All the Difference is stunning, absolutely stunning and the tremendous amount of work you've poured into this work is mind-blogging. I am so impressed (and touched, honestly) that you would research this extensively in order to project and portray the nuances of Japanese culture and the PoT world as accurately as possible.

But it's not only the details that make this fic brilliant, though that's certainly part of it. It's the premise you chose to build this fic upon: how would Fuji fare in Rikkaidai? I mean, the very thought of Fuji Syusuke in Rikkaidai certainly opens any PoT fan up to a torrent of what-ifs. Fuji remains one of the most enigmatic characters in the PoT fic, and even with the close of the PoT manga long past, I've failed yet to properly deduce who is Fuji Syusuke.

But I know enough about him, I'd like to think, to deduce that Fuji and Rikkaidai are near polar opposites. Because Rikkaidai's tennis teams demands the very best of its constituents, does it not? And Fuji never plays to his best. Normally, he doesn't have to because he's so naturally brilliant that even playing sub-par would render the majority of his opponents helpless and fearful.

And you've been writing this beautifully. I love watching Fuji's character growth throughout this story. And the matches with Rikkaidai! They were so amazingly fashioned that I'm simply in awe. The characterization are so meticulous, so scrupulous. You've managed to portray the Rikkadai dynamic very well, and I'm eager to witness how you'll incorporate Fuji into it.

And I'm equally eager to see how this will alter the timeline and events. I can't wait to see what you have next for Fuji, Rikkaidai, and Seigaku. (I can't wait to see how Fuji will interact with Echizen when they finally cross paths!:)

So please, if you read this, I strongly urge you to continue this. There are still people out there who are so in awe of your talent. You've concocted such a fantastic story and it would honestly be dreadful to let it go to waste.

I read this fic over at AO3 and saw your author notes about the fic being over at ffnet and LJ, so I hopped on over to read the rest (and your notes)! This is an amazing fic with amazing detail. It really shows how much thought went into the fic! My favorite chapter was Resignation where Fuji told everyone that he was leaving. It was such a hard thing for him to do, but you wrote it beautifully. I absolutely adored Fuji's small observations about Tezuka, how Tezuka was very considerate, allowing him time to collect his thoughts, and such, when people who didn't know Tezuka as well might think he was just ignoring them. You spin a very believable tale about how Fuji might come to the decision to transfer to Rikkai, and my heart just ached for him when he told Tezuka that he (Fuji) was a selfish person who was playing tennis for different reasons than Tezuka. I absolutely adored the parallel between Fuji and Yuuta, how both had to leave. (Poor Ryuzaki! For a teacher, she probably must wonder if there's something about Seigaku that both brothers disagree with). And then when Inui thanked Fuji for not disappearing without a word... Ahhhhhh! All the implications from that!

It seems that it won't be all smooth sailing from here on out. Rikkai is a very different place from Seigaku, and I wonder if Fuji will find it agreeable or not, especially now that he's witnessed Sanada's brand of discipline. The Rikkai regulars are close, almost like a family, but their bonds and views of tennis are definitely different from Seigaku's. I look forward to Fuji's journey from here on out! I hope you'll be able to return to this story some day!

Shocked may be the best answer. But would they react positively or negatively concerning the news? Ukh, just update soon please!

I really have trouble with actually reviewing on things (I tend to lurk) but this is so amazing I can't help it. Fuji is an intriguing character even without your development but you make him seem more approachable and I love what you've done with the canon to form this totally divergent timeline. I look forward to whatever comes next.

THe tennis matches are really exciting. I'm happy that you mention Fuji's love for wasabi, not many stories do that. This isn't the usual type of story I read. I'm glad I read it because I always thought that Yukimura and Fuji has a similar wavelength. Great story. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. XD
