Thank you so much for presenting a new light on Cloud and Terra's interactions! From the way you write, it's so easy to see why Cloud would band with Terra so easily as he did (and the parallels you drew to Aeris were nicely done) and how she inspires such conflicting emotions in him.

All I have to say is wow. While, I've haven't played Dissidia, I'm familiar with the game. I'm a devout FFVI fan, and I relatively like FFVII. The mood and the pacing of the story was spot on. I think you've captured both Terra and Cloud wonderfully and made pairing them together seem not all that improbable. You have some wonderful descriptions here as well, and you write beautifully.

Liked the comparisons and contrasts between Terra and Aerith. (Funny that Terra wasn't originally named after the earth.)

Was it an artist choice to have two different characters speaking in the same paragraph? That's normally a major writing error, though it seems to be working with the shortstory's odd flow of time.

Speaking of errors, "replaced bY self-" is missing a "y".

Also, there's no way Locke is *less* exciting than Cloud. Less reliable, maybe. Less "involved with another woman". Cloud is much more subdued in personality; it's like you're saying he's less exciting than Zidane.

Unless by exciting you mean "sexy". Then it's just a matter of taste.

I ship CLud and Tifa too, but I do like a bit of Cloud/Terra in Dissidia. I like how you linked this back to Cloud's memories and how it didn't all end in fluffiness for them. Excellent job. :)
