Mmm. Extremely well written, very detailed, and unusually realistic. With the length of the previous chapters, I was hoping this, the conclusion, would have been just as long. Clearly it isn't, but I could hope. This has to be one of the best fics I've ever read. Not mind-blowing, but extremely satisfying.

I know you finished this story quite a while back, but I just wanted to let you know how much I truly enjoy reading a well written, thoughtful story such as this. I was sad to see the end of the story as I would love to see the two of them work out their new relationship!

I really like the slow progression of Roy and Ed's relationship, and how events in this story build off 'The Prices We Pay'. The story was beautiful and heartbreaking and poignant in a way that few are.

I read this masterpiece and its prequel since ages ago at lj, and as I don't have any account there, and as I found these two works again here, well, just let me tell you I enjoyed them so much, lovely and heartranding story with all the feelings in sight for us to delight from every chapter. Personally I'd like to think they eventually do have sex and do like it and just end the 'what will happen when'... this fic left us with an open ending... thanks for sharing your talent dear. Bye

This is just gorgeous. Extraordinarily well written, engaging, realistic...really, my praise knows no bounds for this fic! Finally, a RoyEd that doesn't make a canon-straight man gay from the get-go! And really, these kinds of relationships take time, just like you portrayed. I love the girl flings, too! Nobody came off as a generic OC, and each one contributed hugely to the plot, an unfortunate rarity on this site...anyway, I just adore this, and I'm shocked that I didn't check out your profile earlier after reading "The Prices We Pay."
