This is a strange, but engaging fic! It's interesting how Sebastian and Ciel are so tentative around each other, and unsure too, but they're growing closer and closer and becoming... friends? Family? Whatever it is, those two are revolving around each other and I like that. I like that Ciel is defending Sebastian and Sebastian is protecting Ciel... even at the cost of his temporarily being locked on a glass hill! This fic is certainly unusual, but very, very good and I hope you'll take it up again one day! I'd seriously squeal in excitement if you'd write more of this fic again!

Oh my word...that last conversation between them was intriguing and for whatever reason, incredibly depressing. You made it seem like they are all each other has left in the world...and perhaps their world isn't even real. How terribly sad and lovely. Once more I am floored by your immersive writing style and the emotions you conjure from the characters. Bravo.

Your writing style reminds me of Neil Gaiman, absolutely brilliant. And I am really enjoying this little detour from the regular offering of stories. I maintain that this is a charming story. It reminds me of Neil Gaiman's Coraline, actually... though the story line is a bit fast, it works for this story...maybe you (and most readers) are looking forward to the interaction. :)
