Last update being six years ago is a little disheartening. Any chance a random review mid-2020 will inspire you to finish this? I really enjoyed everything so far. Was disappointed that it hadn't been finished.

I really loved Yoruichi being wired, now tired, and taking the time to reflect and emphasize her connection with her soldiers, the training observations were very nicely done and the imagery 7 scene were really strong!

Nice lead out and lead into Soifon, yay for Yorucihi being nice to her again and an understandable bit of guilt given the careless interrogation, but hey Soifon gets it, she's chill like that, also adorable.

Ah no don't wait to get exposition Yoruihci! XD

Really interesting side scene I wonder who that is? Still loving how expansive and long lasting you made the conspiracy it feels so real and fitting for the setting! Neat details on their views of the Shinigami and their surrounding culture, of course his info may not be as good as he thinks XD

Solid lead into the next scene, it makes sense they are being a bit awkward and the Nanao introduction and Soifon teahing her was absaloutally precious and good! loved her justification being tied to the women's association, that was great XD Nice to see Yoruichi is getting used to this time travel stuff and the Kido lesson itself was neat.

Then we accidentally move into proper exposition territory and oh dear everything is cascading out of control, Yoruichi knows more than Soifon realized, Soifon hasn't been able to share all she knows and now they are off and running, I wonder what foolish this Kisuke is doing XD The casual way it was revealed and discussed on one side was great, kudos.

Also interesting stuff with that ending, I like it!

A fantastic chapter, you managed to tie up a lot of loose ends here!

The into with Yourichi was ideal for giving exposition and setting the mod, ooh I wonder why he's busy XD The idea of needing to exercise is a solid one, it makes sense, as does Yorucihi wanting to better asses Soifon. Loved Soifon inadvertently falling into her fut past self and then embarrassed as she tried to cover or it, that was great, and neat stuff with the conspiracy.

The cat thing was super cute, I liked how the training was described and the lead into Shikai was really sad, poor Soifon this is so unfair :( But does make for excellent drama, seriously loved Yoruichi's observations and Soifon confessing its powers and swearing to never use it on her again was powerful, kudos.

I love how you are handling their relationship, how important Soifon feels to Yorucihi, just how not over it all Soifon is, the layers and layers of cultural baggage and past issues weighing them down and influencing their perspectives, just amazing.

The stealth form idea was great and oh my gosh you described that transformation so brilliantly! Yoruichi realizing the only way Soifion could know and her realization of her 'betrayal' was great! Fantastic lead out line!

A really neat and well done chapter, so much implied and left unsaid!

I loved the lead in to the opening with Soifon playing with the chair and taking in her surrounding before it became all about Yoruichi who is unsurprisingly, very, very on edge. Her attitudes make sense as well and I loved the explanation regarding why she was so upset at the implications and that section with the story and Soifon's breakdown and Yoruichi leaving, dang right in the feels again!

Her talk with Kisuke was great, they really do feel like old friends and his half joking contributions and impersonation feels super fitting.

Really great stuff in her interaction with Urahara, the blush was amusing, poor Soifon! Shows how well this was planned though, kudos. Urahara just accepting Aizen can do all of that and getting super distracted is very interesting, heh, surprised Soifon didn't mention his own experiments on the matter XD

Anyway very well done chapter with a solid lead out and useful exposition delivered in an interesting way!

This was brilliant, you covered Soifon's frazzled, hazy frame of mind absolutely brilliantly. Watching her regress and bounce back and forth as she tried to rationalize her understanding of event, flashing back to Yoruihci leaving, the consequences and lead up, then her throwing herself at Urahara of all people, his sense of threat then empathy at her being so desperate for answers as her hope crumbled that was just... my heart hurts, kudos.

Dang this was a powerful, riveting chapter, you did so much!

OK, I love the stealth opening, which does a great job of weaving narration and action, her passing by Squad 5 was very clever given last chapter and I really liked her ultimate rationale, not just for not taking Soifon to the other captains but her thought processes on the future story, IE, thinking Soifon just gained Bankai using a method she wouldn't approve of 7 conjured up that story in a panic. Also loved the world building history.

That cut to the interrogation was amazing and powerful, you tore right to the heart of the scene and it only got more intricate and character driven as the story developed, the description of Soifon's state was heart wrenching as was Yoruichi's feelings on the matter.

Nice flashback with Kisuke, he and that bucket scene XD felt very in character, amusing he's so considerate hehe, and the truth serum and Yoruichi's concern and lack of good Intel making things go as they did was a solid detail. The idea behind the serum is as worrying as it is genius and works incredibly well from a story perspective, Soifon's breakdown ans more and more info slipped out of her, the names she gave up, the title, her self loathing, all of it was just, wow.

A really brilliant chapter, you get Aizen's cool detached attitude and Gin's creepiness down magnificent, I love the hinted at spy games with their assignations and corruption of high potential students and that Yoruihchi actually did catch wind of it!

Really awesome stuff with Yoruichi, her thought process, her planning, and deductions all work incredibly well as does her affection and conflicted feelings for Soifon.

Finally, excellent ending scene, kudos, poor Soifon, such emotions, such conflict!

Oh nice final, final scene with Aizen, he may not be working on the best info anymore XD

A fantastic interim chapter that leads smoothly into the next. The descriptions, personality and flow all work incredibly well for Yorucihi and inform her views on the matter perfectly, making her a very emphatic read, amazing work!

I found your rendition of Soifon's Bankai to be extremely interesting and well described and the interactions with her spirit were really well done, kudos!

Gin and Aizen are terrifying, which is fitting and what's creepier is the stuff that only gets implied, (Shudders)

Loved the Yoruichi bit, she considers Soifon a bit boring but also wanted her and things to stay the same and is only now realizing how much time she spent on/with her, its a great character beat and her observations and tone are well done.

Another fantastic chapter, Oh, forgot to mention I loved her wanting to be a captain again last chapter.

Anyway this was a fantastic segment, it feels really nice to have it stand alone and the descriptions and scene setting were really strong

Yoruichi's personality and desire for freedom shine through from Soinfon's perspective and analyse, the strolls in the garden being disguised as tests, or doubling as tests so she can have some time for fun or with those she cares about is a great detail.

Soifon's Zanpakuto spirit has a very fitting attitude, its frustrating for her, but not surprising she'd reject trying to impress Yoruichi. Interesting takes on her Bankai as well and their relationship. Also the mindscape was super solid.

Really fantastic ending, it cements their bond but lays the groundwork for Yoruichi's later concerns which put it to the test, kudos!

This was a wonderful, smooth flowing chapter, I really loved her nostalgia and detailed recall.

The idea of her turning a part of her base into a public park she didn't even like is a nice detail, her views on the troops (oh wow some may get caught soon XD) were really neat and I loved her explanation for her view on how she treats her soldiers and grieves.

You made the world feel super lived in with how the mess hall is managed Yoruichi's intro was great and ah Siofon is so in love its adorable XD

Still, its neat that her jump back in time and growth are allowing her a somewhat more balanced view on everything, it made for a very nice scene, while the ending emphasized her ingrained desire to please Yoruichi which sets up the ensuing conflicts super well.
