This was really interesting. I felt like there was a lot of build up but then the ending was a bit rushed feeling though. The way Tanya was talking about how she knew what it would take to keep Edward and so she made it happen came off sounding like she got pregnant on purpose to trap him. Was it intended to sound that way? I'm glad I read Quoting Frost after this because otherwise I would have been very frustrated with not feeling like I understood how Edward even got together with Tanya in the first place when he was apparently so into Bella, why he stayed with her. Because it does come off like her continual feeling that he had chosen Tanya was right from reading this, and his explanation about his moms comment was strange and felt a little lame, especially considering that whole thing is never even referenced in Quoting Frost at all. I also was a bit frustrated with Jasper talking about how Bella didn't wait for him and how upset he was with her, as if she had strung Edward along or something. Like, WTF was she supposed to be waiting for? A guy who had kissed her once as a "gift" for her birthday and then was suddenly dating some other girl for years? Seems like years of heartache all around could have been saved with a few spoken truths. I guess I would have liked to see some of those things get said, but instead it felt like quite a lot just got glossed over towards the end once people were thrown together and the opportunity presented itself. I also wonder, during that brief time they were together talking for hours and hours and sharing that one night before Edward found out about the baby, did Bella and Edward not talk about their romantic history - together and separately - about how they had felt and the things that had happened to keep them apart? It seems like that is something that would have come up naturally. I mean, he was calling her out of the blue after her divorce for a reason. That seems like it would have been the perfect time for lots of little confessions. Maybe that would have changed some things about finding out about the pregnancy. Either way, the way Tanya handled that was just weird.

Anyway, sorry for the long ass ramble. I did really enjoy the story, I just kind of feel like there were some things missing that left me feeling frustrated, like questions went unanswered that I had to read your other one-shot to feel a little more reconciled about. Either way, thanks for sharing your time and talent and I plan to look into your published work. Though I never read the original story here (and I'm now so wishing I could have!) I am interested enough from what you have left posted to check it out.

Bella and edward are so selfish and i think horrible friends...really self involved

I think its kind of horrible of bella and her friends to of done that to edward. It was sneaky and just vile. Not honest at all. He also has a son and bellas comment about how some fathers just walk away got to me and mad my opinion of her go even lower.

Come on!just like that? Just like that? You are a great writer but i really hate these characters. I guess its a tribute to your writing when i get all into it and passionate about the characters and whats going on. I find myself yelling out loud at them.

This is sick...what is wrong with these people? Bella is a doormat...she should kick him to the curb. I hope there arent girls out there really like this.

Never thought I’d find such an interesting point in a lemon chapter- I really like Bella’s thought that it’s possibly patriarchal to consider the man as taking, when a woman really doesn’t lose anything. Especially since it’s very easy for a woman to get quite a lot out of sex with the right partner! Once again thanks for sharing this story and providing views I hadn’t considered before.

Loved Emmett in this, especially that he’s so straightforward- and the fact Rosalie knows him well enough to not need the expected hype of a typically romantic proposal. I don’t have a particularly romantic engagement story either, but it was still wonderful to finally know he wanted to after more than a decade. I had actually given up on making it ‘official’ and was content with the knowledge that we have a secure relationship, but it was nice to get our one mushy moment (ie being obviously loving) in front of friends and family. Thanks for sharing!

I am loving the way you write Rosalie, especially since I read the EPOV story first and love the contrast in that yes she’s a bit crass and very blunt but she really cares for and looks after Bella and Alice (and truly loves Emmett). Thanks for sharing
