I thought you wonderfully captured the essence of Yue's life before Sokka and before the Siege of the North: always waiting, always feeling disconnected and like there's something bigger that she's part of. The anticipation, but no release - not yet.

This is an amazing, beautiful oneshot! Yue is such a remarkable person, and you really captured her personality and her strong connection to the moon and ocean. And I can see Yue knowing deep down that there would be a price to pay to the spirits; it would explain why she's so willing to give her life to the Moon Spirit.

Goodness. There isn't ANYTHING in there that mentions Sokka. Sigh. I rather like the idea of Yue being Sokka's first love- and vice versa.
