I really liked this story. I liked how you compared Rukia's emotions to the compass. I think Ichigo is very selfless. He loves his sisters with his whole heart and he saves Rukia from being executed. His feelings of guilt when someone he cares about his hurt always shines through.

You did a wonderful job with writing this wonderful piece of art.

While Ichigo comes to still motion, i can't help but shiver. The FEELS and emotions were so well put forth throughout the story. The language was a little too sophisticated for me so i needed some time to catch on. HAHAHA. But really, this is such a beautiful piece, even though it's barely a thousand words and less. I love how you expressed Rukia's everlasting longing for Ichigo as a form of selfishness yet Ichigo, as he is, always gives. I really enjoyed this fic, thank you so much for posting it, author-san! You could say that one way in which Ichigo is selfish is that he will do anything to be with or be able to help Rukia because he is selfish enough to love her.

I love the metaphor of a compass. It brings to light a whole lot of ideas about magnetism and stuff but basically I like the way you used the compass needle as a symbol of their relationship. True north. I really like your style. Keep writing.

Nicely done. Really like the concept and flow. I like how the dialogue between Ichigo and Rukia is only described; it sustains the feeling of lurking in Rukia's head.

the summary was bomb and then I read the second sentence (Renji's comment) and that was pretty bomb too. Perfect wording.

I can't say that I really understand Rukia's reasoning and I wish she didn't automatically go from questioning her selfishness to questioning Ichigo's. Nevertheless, I still like the ultimate theme I got from this piece of how Rukia must point to Ichigo/come back to him.

Wow! What a great ending! Really good story.

I loved this.

I enjoyed this and it was quite well-written. However, and this is not your fault, I thought about how Ichigo would be more likely to have these thoughts than Rukia. Because she acted as a mentor for him in the first arc, and still sorta-not-really acts like one for the other arcs, he would definitely think, "What would Rukia do?" For one, she's always calm, and thinks rationally unlike Ichigo. She's also knowledgeable about Soul Society. So I'm sure, although Rukia would think about how Ichigo would do things if he were stuck in moral dilemmas, she would never think about how he would act in battle. Except of course, if she was scoffing at him and thinking of it to tell her what NOT to do. Sorry, that's just my idea of Rukia. But seriously, good job. Loved the compass metaphor. (And the end! It's beautiful!) A
