Oh, this was just so sweet and beautifully written. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it, especially when Anakin tells her he wants seven kids. That's adorable and a little sad at the same time considering he probably did want several children seeing as how he was an only child (just my interpretation of canon). It's very tragic that he ends up fathering twins but is not there to bring them into the world or raise them. I always felt like in the prequels, not enough attention was given to Anakin's reaction to Padme being pregnant. I mean, that one scene when he returns and she tells him is sweet, and he does have a line later about how the baby is a blessing, but in my mind I've always thought that Anakin would be more... I don't know if worshipping is the correct word, but that's the feeling I get from reading this piece what with him cradling her stomach and all. I love that you chose to write this little piece, and I'm definitely going to look for more of your works because I love your writing style and really enjoyed this. Great job! :-)

Aw, love the schmoop. I always find A/P stories with a passionate Padmé a little out of character, but that's not a criticism - I like this Padmé, with clear feelings she's not afraid to express, better than the one we see in the canon. Have to wonder about some of the directorial choices there. Anyway, this is a very sweet one-shot and I enjoyed Anakin's POV.

I really, really adore your Anakin. He's so grown up, and smart, and he loves her so much (and she loves him so much, it practically jumps off the screen), but there's still that little hint of vulnerability and bitterness in the way he thinks of the Jedi Order. I also love the thought of them wanting a child already, hoping for a time when they could have a family and a real future instead of thinking of a distant "happy ending" after the war that neither of them really know what it would actually look like.

And now I'm imagining that this takes place in some AU where he doesn't turn, because the idea that they went from this to ROTS just breaks my heart, every time.
