Naww, now that was just cute. You know what I liked best about your stories? Not even the fact that he got together with Lily, or any other details, it's just that he had this piece of happiness in the second chance you gave him, so to speak. I feel like Snape didn't have a single moment of happiness in the actual books, and that makes me feel so much for him. Sure, he bullied his students. But he was a highly complex character, so the fact alone that he fought for the light side, even though there was no light in his own life at all, and even died before having the chance of experiencing a little bit of happiness, invokes a deep sadness inside of me. I just wish someone, anyone, would've been there for him at least once and appreciated him. Just told him that what he did wasn't for nothing and that he was a great man (even though Snape never would've believed that person). And maybe add a little thank you for everything he did. And close all of this by saying, you're still an asshole though. Lol.
So yeah, thank you so much for giving Severus this chance in your story. You just made me all the more sorry because what you wrote will never apply for the books, and he'll never feel happiness. Sigh. Thank you very much for posting this story, and it's prequel of course.
