I'm relating with Lilly so hard right now what is going on the mystery ugh I'm hooked.

You're really good at giving informative text without the informative part.

WHAT DOES LIGHTNING TREE MEAN? WHY CANT MILEY GO OUT IN STORMS? WHAT IS THE MYSTERY?
This story is very aptly labeled in the mystery genre but if Miley is some sort of storm demon it should maybe be in supernatural as well...
I'm overreacting, probably. Maybe.

Ugh, I'm getting mixed signals from Miley's mom...
And I still have no idea about "Lightning Tree"
But if this whole plot is a set up bc the town is homophobic and Miley is gay and the punchline is when Lilly finds out she just goes "Heck so am I" ...i will be so happy

I realize this story is like... Eight years old... But I'm reviewing anyway. It seems pretty good, so far. Well-written and all. I don't know what "Lightning Tree" means, and I'm so curious, ugh.

I'm still obsessed with this story. By far one of the best fanfiction stories I have read! Thank you for writing this! All I ask is that you never close this account. I always seem to return to your stories time and time again. They are truly something special.

So, it's half past three in the morning, and I just finished reading this. I am in bed because of a very nasty cold, fevering away, but instead of making me feel worse, because I preferred reading to sleeping, no, I actually feel better. Or at least, less miserable - because this story is just amazing. I agree with another comment that Miley seems to be rather odd, and her views do remind me of the way children see the world. I figure that with all the crap she has gone through, keeping her heart and soul as pure as a child's was the only way to make it through, huh? Seriously, I could not stop reading, devouring this fiction in a day. Being bed-ridden helps, of course, but it is still an amazing achievement, my friend, for you and me both ;)

I have to admit that you really had me at the end of chapter sixteen. I am just glad that I hadn't had to wait until an update; I don't think I could've made it.

The beginning of this last chapter was so intense it had me alsmost crying. You can feel Lilly's dispair and I could almost see her in front of my eyes, doing CPR on Miley - a task so utterly hopeless and yet the only hope she had, it brought tears to my eyes.

I am glad Oliver came around, at least to the extent that he would continue with the compressions - though I love the fact that Lilly was the one to give Miley her breath back. I love how you put it "she breathes for Miley" - because that is what she was doing; the way you told the story, the words you used were so simple yet incredibly beautiful at the same time.

There's some symbolism in that - Miley can't breathe on her own in that moment, but that's okay, because Lilly is there, with all her love, and she's breathing for her. She will save her, she's right at her side. It makes me unbelievably happy! I think I can go to sleep now, and hopefully, wake up feeling a lot better tommorow - I have a sequel to read, after all!

I thought about this fanfiction the other day and I came back to re-read it and...just as good as the first time. I adore it so 3 You're awesome.

A thunder storm started while I was reading this today. Oh the irony. I loved this story. And will now continue on to read all of your liley stories. :)
