The fight scene was pretty good this time around. Though I would have liked to see the good guys land a few more hits before Robotnik started bombing the place.

In any case, this was a pretty fun story to read. Nice balance of both charming and suspenceful.

This chapter was pretty exciting. :) Good use of conflict and tension. Now, while I agree with other reviewers that Tails is an excellent fighter and could easily wipe the floor with Ash, I can understand your reasoning for letting him take a few hits. In drama, it helps if the villian if made a reasonable threat, to make it all the more satisfying when the hero gives him his whupping. My only reason critisism is, what was Sonic doing while that scuffle was taking place? I mean, it was right outside Sonic's house and all, and he'd wipe the floor with anyone who lays a hand on Tails. It also would have given Ash an even better reason to hightail it out of there.

This was a nice chapter. Nice "cosy" feel to it, with Sonic and Tails chilling at home. One thing I'd recomend is expanding on what happens when Mina spends the night. Perhaps (if you're going ahead with revising the chapters) Sonic could suggest an activity for the three of them, to try and cheer Mina up, like video games, or watching a movie etc. You see, that way, you'd show Mina and Tails having fun together and growing closer. Still a nice story. :)
