wow i am in awe this is possibly the best sherlock holmes story on here i mean it i was glued till the end the passion the emotion it was jeremy brett and david burke i assume it sounded like them it was them amazing please please write more please i loved it

What a nice story! Esp I like that you used a book version of Holmes, both in appearance and in character. RDJ is a good actor and all, but he's just not Sherlock Holmes for me.

I really enjoyed this! You've found Watson's character and tone of voice perfectly, and I love both the humour and the tenderness in this well-written piece.

I had to laugh out loud at Watson stating that he had "acted the love-sick swain, turned myself into a fawning puppy, the kind who would secretly make doe-eyes via the silvered coffee-pot and creep down the stairs to listen covertly to him playing the violin in the dead of night." Thankfully I've stayed away from the silvered coffee-pot but I'm afraid I've had Watson both pine outside Holmes' door and listen covertly to him playing the violin. :D Your Watson has much too much common sense and Army pride to do that, ever!

Just today I told someone that this was my favorite Shwatsonlock "first time" fic, and yet I realize that I haven't left a review - so, here I am, fixing that.

This is definitely one of my top fics for this pairing. It's totally in-character, interesting and sweet with just the right amount of sexy to fill it out. I love that Holmes takes notice of Watson's subtle obsessing in his publications, and goes about bringing it up all wrong. It's all just perfect - I can totally picture this happening at some point in canon.

Brilliant. Beyond brilliant. You are truly an exceptional writer and I would very much like to see more from you.
