I just recently watch this movie for the first time and I love it, so that explains why I went looking for Fics. I loved your story. It was so like I would imagine it would be for them. With Zach being insecure a lot and Shaun being amazing, and Jeannie being Jeannie and Cody being the cutest. So thank you for having this around and merging your story with the movie ending, now every time I watch the movie I'll be thinking of this.

I just discovered your story and I have really enjoyed reading it. One suggestion for future reference. Place a marker of some sort (dashes, asterisks, etc) when you begin a different scene. This would help identify you are going from one to another, much like a small transition. Overall, well done.

Wow. I must confess: I just read THIS chapter, I googled "shaun/zach fanfic you're beautiful" and it lead me to this. For which I'm SO happy because this seems to be a great story, but I'm going to try read it slowly so I can enjoy it (and leave review on every chapter).

I've only read the first chapter but already I'm so impressed. Your writing is a perfect tone for Zach and Shaun's relationship and the characterization is great. Shaun knowing exactly what to say, Zach being unsure yet hopeful. All of it is just perfection.

This line really got me.

"Shaun made him almost believe that it was O.K. to take refuge in the shelter of his love."

In that one sentence you've summed up the entire message of the movie and even though it's simple it's so so beautiful. I'm jealous that I didn't think of it first. I'm very much looking forward to reading more of this story.
