good story. uncomfortable to read, but I liked the ending.

You said it wasn't a songfic...but the emotional vibe of this story is just like Springsteen's song's.

Finally! Harry is promoted! He seems harder which is sad, we've lost the young, naive ensign.

A very nice look at what might happen to Voyager's crew once they got back home. You have Tom's and Harry's voices down. I also loved how Tom, because of his family history, was able to see things that someone like Harry could not.

An excellent story about a poignant reunion between two friends who had shared a special time in their lives. Very well done and the author captured both Paris and Kim's characters, perfectly. This should be posted on the BEST OF TREK site.

What a great Tom and Harry story. It fits with their characters on Voyager. It's kind of sad but realistic.

I really liked this story. I thought it was great how you showed what might have happened after all of the fireworks ended how members of the Voyager crew might have felt returning home.
