This was such a fun Carol Fic!
This one ended in a really great spot, but dang if you ever wanted to pick this back up I could easily read another 20 chapters of this.

This is an absolutely lovely bit of fiction. :D I adored Carol's appearance in the story and her overall characterization, and the whole setting (Hatter's bookshop, the issues with the Looking Glass, the fact that they're holing up in a hotel until a new palace or something similar can be made) is wonderfully creative and interesting. Nice work, altogether.

I'm sorry that this story remains unfinished. I was really getting into the idea, and it would've been an awesome ride watching this story play out. Still, I enjoyed what I did get to read, so thank you for that!

I've been reading through your Alice fics and loving them, and thought I'd drop a note on this one especially because I love what you're doing here. It's definitely a favourite trope of mine in any fandom for someone who hasn't been a part of the adventure to end up finding out, and you're pulling it off wonderfully. Poor Carole must be so confused! I look forward to future updates, as well as reading more of your works. :)

Um, I wanted to let you know that in chapter 4 you said alone instead of along, and in this you said planet instead of planted. It's an easy enough mistake, but I thought I should as well point it out. I'm not trying to be rude.
