This is a good fic and you portray the characters very well, but I really, really wish that more people would remember (and I blame English propaganda and inaccurate Hetalia for this) that Spain got REVENGE for his fallen armada the very next year in 1589 when defeated the English Counter Armada which was even bigger than Spain's had been. Among other battles, Spain also defeated the UK (not just England this time) in 1741 in the Battle of Cartagena de Indias.

So hopefully, this is a big reminder that Spain was and is quite powerful and won quite a few battles against England too (and France, the Dutch, etc.) so their interactions as enemies were hardly as one-sided in England's favor as Hetalia likes to misguide people they were.

But other than that, good length, great characterizations, nice flow, and very unique and interesting plot! Good job!

i would've liked an elaboration on what the 2ps truly did. sure we got the hints that they apparently owned half the world and were lovers, but was this what would've happened if they had that union back in the 16th century?

Wow! I just read all of this in one sitting! It is one of my favorite Spuk fanfics! I especially love this last chapter, with Spain finally coming to understand England better. Though I also loved seeing possessive Spain in the previous chapters. It's always fun to see a different, darker side of him. I hope they end up as endgame
