Loved this fic

This is quite honestly my favorite story I have read in a long time. The two short sequels just make it that much better. I look forward to reading your other works.

Chapter 8 kinda pissed me off, the severity that such a weak genjutsu caused naruto kinda felt like bs. He was practically crippled for a day, it didn't really make sense.

This has been an amazing end to an amazing story. I have greatly enjoyed reading it, thank you so much for sharing it. The characters stayed in character and there weren’t any grammar issues that I could find at any point, which makes reading this a breath of fresh air. Way too many stories will have a good idea but make a story that is unreadable due to terrible characters or writing. Once again, thank you!

Itachi is so badass! It’s too bad you didn’t write a Pein/Hanzo fight, I bet that would have been amazing. This is probably how the story would have gone if Naruto had left with Kakuzu and the story didn’t have 100 plot twists.(Obito, Madara, Kabuto, Juubi, Zetsu, Kaguya, the Otsutski). Nice chapter!

Nice chapter, I hope Itachi doesn’t get the wrong idea about Tobi’s ‘views’. Worst case scenario: Itachi teams up with Tobi to kill the rest of Akatsuki but Tobi backstabs him at the end and takes his eyes.

Nice chapter. Danzo must be pissed with Tenzo dying as well. Who does that leave him with? Guy and Kurenai? Your fight scenes are still awesome. It looks like we are nearing the end of the story but there aren’t many hints as to what that’s going to be. I’m guessing that Naruto’s chat with Pein will be enlightening.

I’m glad that Naruto is just now learning how to utilize Jiongu fully. It definitely shows that he is growing instead of having him be able to do everything right off the bat. Also... my ship has sailed! Thank god he didn’t become a sage. I have nothing against sage mode but getting randomly summoned by the chameleons to learn their sage mode would have seemed too convenient and unnatural.

I’m not sure whether to be happy that he’s fine or upset(surprised really) that I’ve been so thoroughly tricked. Also, Kakashi died?! I assumed he would have been able to get away. Though I guess Orochimaru himself was being bashed around by 4 tails Naruto, so it’s possible. Nice chapter, now for a training montage!

When I read the title I suspected... when Asuma died I grew hopeful... but when Shikamaru volunteered to get revenge I started to mourn. Damn, a motivated Nara is a victorious Nara. Awesome chapter!

The meeting between Naruto and Pein was amazing. It’s probably not going to happen, but what if Naruto were to take over Akatsuki and take over the world as a god? Hidan and Kakuzu interactions were great.

Oh my god, Naruto is figuring out what girls are... They grow up so fast(wipes tears). In this story Akatsuki seems like a much larger threat than cannon. Not only is Pein himself aware of Naruto this early on, but Naruto only has Fuu for (a somewhat questionable level of) protection instead of all the elite jonin of Konoha as well as two of the Sannin. I liked how you introduced Hidan. It seemed natural. Nice chapter.

Interesting... I never expected to get a Kakuzu backstory but I’ll take what I can get. I enjoyed the fight scenes in this chapter, they are getting even better. Though I’m betting this isn’t the last of Orochimaru. Would Naruto really need the stitches from Jiongu permanently? Does his enhanced healing actually do anything if Jiongu does the same thing but better and still permanently mars his body(despite being able to supposedly heal from any injury).

Wait... Sasuke is... no way. You take away Naruto from the hidden leaf for a few years and already Sasuke, Kankuro and Temari are dead and Akatsuki is capturing the Ichibi, during the Chunin exams no less. Why couldn’t Sai catch up to Sasuke though? Naruto managed it in cannon easily enough, though my memory of how that happened is very foggy.

I’m hoping that the Taki elders won’t reveal Jiongu to the other villages since they want it to stay secret or something. I love how well you balance what is actually happening and what the characters are thinking. Kakuzu said that Naruto would be his legacy/message to the ninja world. I wonder what that actually entails. Will he be a direct inheritor if his techniques? Or simply a show of power that will have Kakuzu go down in history as his teacher? I kind of feel bad for Fu, knowing that she is a tool, but I guess if she doesn’t mind...
