Not bad. Hope gets a lot of backlash but the truth is, he's an ordinary kid dragged into hell with a bunch of adults who are pretty much all trained fighters. Vanille is also young but was raised on pulse and was already a l'cie. He's the most normal character of them all and deals with all that shit pretty well considering his age and experience.

I loved this fanfic and I thought all of the character were nicely written.

This was a really cute story. It's always nice to see these little moments between these two, and not something heavily romantic. I think people often forget the smaller moments like this are just as nice as the heavier deeper moments.

Awesome. You actually made me feel sorry for Hope, something I stopped doing once he got past his my mummy's dead stage and started ranting about hope and such and stepping on the pther character's lines. XD

Really well written, loved the references to borrowed time and the way you described everything that happened in the chapter. My one quam with your story is the lack of Fang, but that's just me and I'm odd that way.

Very cute and, at the same time, heartwarming. Liked it a lot, it strikes me as a cutscene that should have been in the game, to bridge Hope's initial optimism to his more pessimistic moment that summoned Alexander.

I thought you portrayed Lightning and Hope pretty well. I also enjoy reading a fic where I don't have to correct spelling/grammatical mistakes in my head as I read along (a bit of a perfectionist, I admit), so this was very nicely written, I felt.
