It's wonderful how you managed to fit so many characters into this, and I loved the bit with Barda and Lindal and their daughter. I can also totally imagine Barda saying 'One Lindal is enough' XD You managed to capture their characters beautifully there XD

Also, I'm glad that someone else reckons Barda would be such a devoted, loving father :P

This is WONDERFUL. (OMG SOMEONE WROTE TOM! AND DOOM WITH HIS GRANDSONS! E!) Deltora Quest was a big part of the last good portion of my childhood (and continues to be one of my favorite fantasy series today), and you've done right by every part of it.

As mentioned over there - the fact that this is so good highlights the few little things you must've missed when proofreading. The last sentence in Tom's portion looks like it might be missing a word, and there's a few places where the words just after dialogue shouldn't be capitalized but are. (Then again, I've heard the rules vary on that, and as I learned to English in America, well... my stance is perhaps not the most informed.)

Overall, though... this was a wonderful, nostalgic read. Thank you for it.
