I must say, you are quite the brilliant writer your descriptions and word choices are very unique and nice.

This was really good, XD kinda read it all in one sitting but I loved every second of it. XD Now I really want to see that follow up fic, I've always been curious about that particular line XD

unless both my memory and math are wrong, the 12th body part was listed by the killer as a left forearm. the 13th, therefore, is the blood Janine found. at this point the killer refers tobthe number of parts as a baker's dozen (13) and shortly after, leaves a lung on the street (14). this all but confirms my theory that the fingerbone is not from the Butcher.

I was unable to figure anything out from this, although I do find a single fingerbone an oddly small body part in comparison to the rest of the lovely little surprises this killer has been leaving on the street. in fact, if the bone wasn't bloody, and I think you mentioned that, then it would be hard to find, and would throw a wrench in the killer's plans. might this be some bizarre coincidence?

L believes that those who discover a body part become victims. that means that the first body part, a faceless head, came from someone who couldn't have found anything. it's likely the killer knew this person, or possibly stalked them for a considerable length of time. if the former is true, then the killer may have left the head faceless to keep the victim anonymous. this would only work if dna testing wasn't yet mainstream.

hm... I was unaware Jos-Louis cakes were only available in Canada.
I'm going to see if I can make some deductions before L reveals his own. All I have at this point is a theory that the killer is attempting to 'deliver' enough body parts to assemble an entire human. these parts come from at least two people. numbers also fit into it, there's a set number of parts the end result must be 'composed' of. The face, I believe, will come last. Eraldo Coil mentioned that the killer may be hoping for the police to actually assemble the parts.

Ah, I was actually wondering about L and Watari's interactions and characterization during this fic. Because in the anime, their relationship always seemed purely professional to me, with L in command, which is a bit odd considering Watari had a hand in raising L. Watari's doubt in L makes perfect sense in that context, it ruined their relationship. It's really sad. I feel so bad for L. :(

omg, this was incredibly awkward to read since I knew A was watching the whole time. The poor thing! And I like the fact that L thought it was Watari watching instead of A, since he would be the biggest ass in the world if he did it knowing it was A. I wonder if you are going to have him commit suicide in this fic, he certainly has lots of reasons to now, doesn't he? :(

This was a really great read. I was on my toes and the writing is wonderful.

I love your characterizations of A and B, but A especially - you really had nothing to go on with the character except for a few tidbits of information...but the way you've fleshed out his personality is full and complete. Magnificent work.

This is amazing! - I think you captured L in a teenage life perfectly. I especially BB in here. Him and his amusing humor. But all together was a wonderful battle case between the mislead Eraldo and still maturing L. D

Makes me want to read more.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story! I loved the way you wrote L, A, B, and even Watari. It was all really believable and I like how L started to develop and change into the adult L we know from DN. The social encounters L had with people were very amusing and the crime plot was *awesome*. I felt like the ending was kind of inconclusive, but that might just be me. Five stars!
