Loved, Absolutely Loved this modern telling of the ARTHUR and GWEN "LOVE STORY". The depiction of original Merlin characters was spot on... You must update with the meeting of the two families(Tom and Uther) lol. Elyans return and response, and of course the Fairytale Wedding with all of what I pray will be its fabulous Twists, Turns, and I,m sure "Low Down Maneuverings". LOVED THIS FIC!

okay - so I've now read ALL of this and ALL of An Unwelcome Guest, and I loved it :)

You modernised the characters so well, and the humour in it cancelled out any potential cheesiness.

I adored every single PP reference (cos I'm a massive Austen nut) and I thought you put so many thoughtful touches into the characters that made them feel very real.

The Arwen relationship just shone through beautifully - you are great at writing romance in a none-icky fashion. Loved it!

Really enjoyed both these stories! Icreally like Gwen/Arthur and there's not enough good fanfiction of it. I especially love the modern AU, one of my favourite genre's in the fandom.

I like the unconventional romance and silliness as well which is refreshing and not jumping straight into sex.

This story's a little bit Sins of the Father-ish too - except it's the police accusing Uther of killing Ygraine, not Arthur.
