Unbelievable. I can't believe you don't have more reviews! I read this fic years ago and really liked it then too. I just re-read it now and yes, it's still as lovely as I remember. I'm so relieved this is still here.

I liked the interaction between Angeal and Aerith - it was very true to both of their characters and the entire interaction was beautifully sweet. Also, as it's done very rarely and even more seldom well, I especially loved the 'softly implied' AngealxOC. Usually people are obsessed with pairing him with either Genesis or Zack and it's nice to see him with a woman for a change, even if only for very briefly and with nothing more than a few hints.

Something I didn't notice the first time around was Zack specifically called him 'SOLDIER First Class Angeal'. Just, oh my god, wow!

I'm someone who spends a freakish amount of time berating fan fiction authors for calling Sephiroth 'General' and Genesis 'Commander' (no, seriously, you can find my rant repeated on 3 different forums - two on this site). To see, for once in my life, that someone has used the correct rank for any of the SOLDIER boys is simply mind-boggling. You, my friend, are a delight!

All around, nice job with this story! I'm just sorry that my review is five years too late.
