You can't just leave it there! You give us hope for a different ending (But...I do SO love Neville's scene of killing the snake while wearing the Hat and ON FIRE!), and then don't actually write out the ending? Really?

Please, please do consider writing up a separate one-/more-shot of the actual Hogwarts Battle With Additions :D If not, I may be tempted to try my hand at it...

I like how you described Hermione not trusting her former professor but cooperating with him at first because that presented to be the best/safest course of action at the time. Severus' behaviour was brilliant too in my opinion. He is the silent man who manages to play his own game.

Well, thank you for your beginning of a diffrent ending for book seven. I'd like to read the whole 'end' of the story going on from your end. So maybe a sequel?

I loved this little fic - Hermione and Snape are two of my favourite characters. I also loved how it is implied that the death/s at the end of Deathly Hallows don't happen because of it,especially glad of Snape's probable survival. I can't wait for your next fic - hopefully you'll do a fic with the filler chapters from Chnges in Heart & What Once Was at some point in the near future, but I look forward to anything you offer.
