I really liked this! I didn't expect Jessie to be so upfront with her feelings, but I absolutely like how it turned out! Also, supportive Meowth is the best Meowth!

Very nice story :) It was was sweet and I think the characters sounded pretty in character. I liked how their friendship was mixed in with the romance, because it's a big part of their relationship.

Aw, this is such an adorable story! And I have to say that I really love seeing Jessie and James' relationship portrayed as light-hearted and friendly for once; angst-heavy and riddled with pain is okay, but most of the time it's so overwrought that it just feels wrong. This seemed pretty believable: the dialogue was pretty good, I thought, and you showed the ups and downs of a normal, pleasant relationship nicely. Even the classic 'secretly-in-love' thing seemed fresh when the two of them aren't wracked with pain over it - what I see way more often than I like is Jessie & James acting so distraught over their romantic pains that they lose all semblance of their normal behavior and don't even act like friends in supposedly shippy fic. This story kept their friendship evident, and I really appreciate that. Great job!
