Maddie chapter 5 . 7/29/2018 Absolutely loved this! |
LunaBianca chapter 5 . 7/18/2016 Really, really excellent. The struggle for hope (of both boys) at this point in the Winchester saga is so clearly captured in this story. Thank you for writing and giving us some brother-empathizing-with-brother scenes. :) |
Guest chapter 5 . 6/4/2014 This is a great story, filling the gap at the end of MBV. Really think you did a great job with the emotions and suffering that Sam was going through with the effects of the blood in his system. Also I love how Dean is the caring big brother! |
Louey06 chapter 5 . 12/6/2013 Very nice story I liked it |
Parnassus chapter 5 . 4/14/2013 Very nicely done. Creative aftermath that we never saw between Famine's death and Sam in the panic room. I enjoyed this :) |
SupernaturallyEgocentric chapter 5 . 8/9/2011 great story, really love it - especially love how Dean wouldn't let Sam beat himself up |
SupernaturallyEgocentric chapter 4 . 8/9/2011 Great chapter - very well done. Poor Sam. That damned panic room again! |
SupernaturallyEgocentric chapter 3 . 8/8/2011 Great chapter, love the talk between Dean and Sam. |
SupernaturallyEgocentric chapter 1 . 8/6/2011 Good story, well written. Looking forward to reading the rest. |
Emmers224 chapter 5 . 6/29/2011 This was an awesome story! The angst was perfect, as was the brotherlyness we so needed to see after this episode. You did a great job! |
Sparkiebunny chapter 5 . 4/24/2011 Overall-Fabulous! Really great job! :) |
SciFi Girl chapter 5 . 10/13/2010 Wow that was great! It was touching and really filled in a scene that was truly missing from that ep. Thanks for writing. I thoughouly enjoyed it! |
CeCe Away chapter 5 . 9/22/2010 This was great. I had to read it all the way through. I just love that episode, it's so hard wrenching on them both so I especially enjoyed where you took it afterwards. Have a happy Friday glued to the TV. |
ziggy.uk chapter 5 . 9/9/2010 Great final chapter. You wrote Sam's withdrawal perfectly, conveying all that he went through but not being over-the-top with the details and that made it more powerful to the reader. So like Dean referring to his little brother as skunk-boy and that lighthearted remark showed Dean's relief that Sam had come through the other side. Great ending, the three of them kicking back drinking whiskey and that the warmth flowing through Sam had nothing to do with the alcohol! These lines were perfect - Dean released a long breath and smiled. Sam had made it, wasn't all the way there yet, but he had fought with everything he had, and had definitely seen his way back to the other side. Dean's chest tightened, God, he loved his brother. And it was then that he truly believed that Famine had been full of shit. Because if pain could be used to prove that he could still feel, and was not completely dead on the inside - then it only made sense that hope, and love, could be used to prove that he was truly alive. Sam had, in the end, denied what Famine demanded of him, and Dean, in the end, had proven the horseman wrong as well. Despite all they'd done to each other over the past year, it was what they meant to each other that made all the difference. And yes, Dean's biggest immediate challenge would be getting his little brother into bed. A really great read, thanks. |
ziggy.uk chapter 4 . 9/9/2010 Was a little worried there that when Sam started to concentrate and was able to move a little that he would do something he would regret but great that he managed to communicate everything to Dean and Cas whammied him again to be on the safe side. |
