| running.from.lions23 chapter 1 . 3/3/2015 Not all women died in childbirth, but it was more common in this time period for women to experience complications during this process, namely a large loss of blood or too much pain that both caused death, not to mention the fever and susceptibility to diseases shortly after giving birth. Nature doesn't sympathize with who gets to live, all nature needs for a species to do is keep reproducing and keep dying. Read up on it sometime, Guest. Honestly, I hope that people like you educate yourselves more before you all jump to conclusions based on subjective conjectures. Here are a few things I found on the matter. | Natalie chapter 1 . 2/25/2014 Regency weddings were usually small affairs, attended by family and close friends. Also weddings happened in the morning between 8-10 o'clock, hence the wedding breakfast. Therefore it was impossible for the guests to dance through the night. Otherwise this is a very good story :) |
