I don't think it was out of character for them. If Derek had stayed with Addison, Meredith would have moves on. And since Alex basically bangs anything that walks, at some point he probably was interested Meredith. Anyway, it was cute.

I typically don't like Alex/Meredith together but I like this a lot. Very in character.

How the hell...? Okay, so I see them as just friends. But when I read "I'd choose you," my heart soared for them! Really weird pairing for me. Because I have Addex and I have MerDer. D: BUT THIS IS REALLY REALLY GOOD!

This is a sick sort of AWESOME. It's a REALLY weird pairing, but they've had some good friend moments, so it worked really well, and I really like it in an odd... way.
