Adored this! Penelope is so selfless trying to do everything herself. I love protective Derek hehe. This was awesome and so sweet! Glad they got the asshole that tried to get Penelope.

Part of me wishes you had Derek shoot this bastard in the gut or something so that he would still be alive but suffer as he watches Penelope be rescued instead of dying like HE wanted

Love this. This was a great fic. I really enjoyed the case and then the romance afterwards. And I like that they ended up getting rid of the letter, I understand Derek's reluctance but I really loved Penelope's reasoning for it.

He created such a great date... not sure if he'll ever be able to top it. But I love that he did all of that for her.

That letter was heart-wrenching... especially when Derek realized that it meant Penelope knew exactly what was going to happen to her. And her goodbyes at the end were so sad. I'm glad she made it through the surgery and that they were able to convince the doctor that she would be much better off if Derek was in there with her.

I like that the team doesn't want Derek to find the letter... not sure how I feel about him getting the letter. Hopefully it's going to be a good thing for him.

I'm glad Derek told Strauss how he felt... she definitely needed to be told. And poor Penelope, waking up there and then finding that note. I love her making sure she writes down her feelings so that Derek knows how much she loves him.

You are doing great building the suspense in this... making me not want to review and just keep on reading. I hope they find Penelope soon... and that they aren't in too much trouble with Strauss.
