Interesting idea. The idea of being forced into a nasty incident in history has some good pathos to it.

However, there's a slight problem. I actually looked up information on the Prince of Wales assassination, and it turns out the only assassination on the list (at Wikipedia) was a STABBING. Owain Lawgoch lived around the 1300s. I'm not sure they had those kinds of guns back then.

It's been some years since I've seen S&S, but from what I recollect, this seems true to the show and the characters. Steel, like 3rd season Avon on B7, could be a cold-hearted son of a she-dog when circumstances made compassion an unaffordable luxury.
