I really liked your fiction. The elements you added to the Tarrant's backstory were very interesting; I like how each member of the family and their lost love became such real characters that one also suffers their loss. Of course, the slow and burning growth of love between Hatter and Alice, with its complications and happy moments, was excellent. Well done!

...Beautiful. Just beautiful. This is an incredibly well done story! Skillfully written-the language never distracted from the story, and often added to it. Wonderfully rounded characters-seeing so many sides of the Hatter and Alice, as she discovered them, was wonderful. So many emotions and situations were explored! And in very identifiable ways; my mood shifted with each change in theirs, from being amused with Alice to aching with the Hatter. Believable plot-all the struggles and decisions of Alice and the Hatter were well thought out and followed naturally from each other and the history you developed. No situation felt either forced or purposeless, and everything culminated with the most delightful of endings.
All in all, it's given me quite a case of the warm fuzzies, which appear to be staying for a while. I'm so glad I stumbled across this amazing work of art!

This is so adorable! I've always loved this pairing :) And I love that Alice finally came back to the Hatter. Really well written and lovely!

What a mad, lovely story. Your style is poetic and easy to read - I floated right through. I love your portrayals of Tarrant, Alice, and Chess. (Yes, Chess is up with my favorites. Nice addition of Dinah!) The story is a little more sexual than I'm usually comfortable with, but I'm glad I read it.

I just finished reading and I loved it. And funnily enough had recently had a similar plot bunny. I actually started laughing when you introduced Issa. Someday, I may actually write that plot bunny... however, the loss of a pregnant wife may be the only similarity.
