Kenshin at 16 was awkward, withdrawn, and a loner by choice (as gathered from the manga, which to be fair was Kenshin's memories so not exactly objective). Kaoru has lots of friends. | piccolabimba chapter 4 . 5/15 I like this focus. Yahiko is a great character and as he represents the future, his development means a lot to the more senior members of "team Kenshin". His relationship with Kaoru and KKR are integral to that development. |

| kalmaegi chapter 13 . 9/29/2014 "A waste of space." This unworthy one. If there is something I hate Kenshin about most of all, it's this. I'm just hoping for Kaoru-dono to beat that out of him with tenderness and love and family and /home/. Because goodness knows, shouldn't it be enough? |
