Great story you got here, really hope you continue it. only thing that bug me is that even when seeing Jessica's face, no one even suspected she looked a little familiar, and that Kitty already meet her and that Jessica basically explained who was to her.

Makes perfect sense and gives a more official authorized image.

That just never really made sense to me. Best to power them up, or ditch.

Having read all the up-to-date Ultimate Marvel and Ultimate Comics, I gotta say that this story is taking a better, more interesting way than the current comics are. So the team now consists of Kitty, Jim, Peter, Johnny, Bobby and soon Gwen. I'm a bit surprised you haven't put Liz into the group. Sure, two superheroes with fire abilities might make it a bit lopsided but it would definitely make it so there is like an aerial aspect of the team in case Bobby is busy at the moment. Plus, it would also give Jim someone else to hit on and maybe not think of Peter so much of a nerd by finding out he's someone that will have your back in a tight situation. Another example of that was when Logan was being chased by former Weapon-X operatives and Peter helped him out to the point where Logan actually said he took back everything bad he said about him. Getting someone like Logan to admit that, definitely no easy task.

There were some problems with spelling, capitalization, and words like heroin and heroine being mixed up.

The good points: You got the super hero banter pretty well, no plot holes, and the action scenes were okay.

A team name I would suggest if you haven't chosen yet would be Frontline. Yes, I know it's the name of a newspaper in the 616 universe, but it's still a pretty cool name. Since technically they're the city's first line of defense. SHIELD agent are just watchdogs and guardsmen.
