First of all... can I say LOL? Because that was funny. I almost fell off my chair with the whole "play dead" thing. :) Very cute, and I could see Angel acting like that on the show, if he were ever stoned that is.

Really love this piece - I like the explanation for why Angel's acting this way, the tangled-up mess in his mind that he's trying to sort through, and the nicely underplayed sexual tension. Very nicely done.

Wow...I really liked it...especially the "Play weasel? No. Play pigeon? Pilgrim?" Part...I laughed my ass off. We need a lot more stories with Angel's inner monologue.

I absolutely adore this. It's charming and funny, and yes, on the fluffy side, but it's *quality* fluff - by which I mean it has deceptive depth. Your depiction of Angel's off-kilter thought processes is well-observed and skilfull. This is a piece I can read again and again, and it will always make me smile. Thank you.

:) I loved it. Poor Angel. Funny, but in a aww-poor-baby kind of way. And in my opinion, a drunk/stoned or whatever Angel on the show would be a lot of fun without the evil-Angel thing.
