Yeah, it was worth the update. I'm fine w/ delays, makes the updates received all the more rewarding. I figured who was the Edo-nin in the beginning. I was so ridiculously proud of that for some reason. I feel a bit of disappointment that Bellatrix didn't die. Yet. After everything, I have to believe karma will come to bite her eventually. As for the rest of the chapter: Kakashi's in Madara's hands and I feel anxious because of that. Remus and Jiraiya are about to take a rescue mission (if its anything like the last one then they need all the luck for them).
While I didn't particularly care for that part w/ Ten Ten talking about the orphanage & Naruto, I was more interested in the action to be honest. But I think what I liked best of this chapter was Kakashi ordering the other ninja's to take their lives if they get bit by the wolves to avoid being turned against Konoha. It really is a sobering victory when you get the battle count. So yes, I was satisfied w/ the chapter. Nice to see how effective Remus and Mooney were and how deadly those forbidden Hatake clan stuff was.

Wow. just wow. One of the best fics I've ever read. Not only does it incorporate two of my favorite characters (Remus and Kakashi), the fight scenes are well done, added backstory is simply amazing, plot is coherent and well-thought out, action scenes and quiet scenes are nicely paced, wizards are not just wussies compared to shinobi and characters stay realistic.
Very well done and hope you haven't given up on this one yet

Considering the time delay for my updating of The Will of Fire, I am certainly not going to fault you for the time between posted...heh.
But the length and the action throughout this chapter were well worth the wait!
I enjoyed the ways you let us in on the fact that Silvertooth is already beginning to manifest himself in Kakashi - through his increased power...but physical and chakra-wise...and through the increasing comments within the Copy Ninja's mind. I was also relieved to see that Kakashi knew better than to hide the speaking from Remus once it was becoming more frequent.
The battles at Okawa were very well done - easily showing just how much Kakashi's powers were increased, considering he wasn't even at full strength when they started this mission...and I was also glad to see that he confronted Remus about the obvious surge of power that agreeing to the deal with Moony had caused. It makes me wonder if a similar power merging may be in the cards for Kakashi and Silvertooth as well, but somehow I doubt it will be quite the same.
And now you have me looking forward to when Kakashi will finally 'meet' with the wolf face to face, and what such a meeting might bring forth - especially if Moony and Remus get to experience it too.
Of course, now that Konoha is being attacked by Bellatrix, that meeting will likely be delayed - at least in a controlled format...I wouldn't put it past Silvertooth to force Kakashi into the meeting before all is said and done...
And ending this chapter with the scenes of Madara and Bellatrix was a wonderful way to remind us all that Madara definitely has his own evil plans in store for Kakashi and Naruto...and I'm the first to admit that I was a bit creeped out when he reminded her to deliver Kakashi 'unspoiled'...definitely makes my imagination run away with itself over just what the Uchiha has in store for my favorite silver-haired jonin.
Anyhow - loved the chapter! And can't wait to see just what unfolds next...especially with the next full moon right around the corner!

Yes, yes YES! So happy for an update and I did enjoy this chapter. I hope they are able to evacuate the citizens to safety. I do wonder if Tsunade maybe did use some of Remus' blood for other things not regarding Naruto. I almost thought that Jiraiya was bitten and then Iruka in danger...oh that was you have left me wondering who that Edo-ninja was/is.
Regarding Bellatrix...let her die, oh please let Remus/Mooney kill her. There is no way she can be allowed to live after what she admitted. I really am looking forward to her death. I forgot about the sword but I guess it has been awhile. I can't wait for Madara vs. Kakashi, it almost seems like fate w/how past interactions have occurred between their clans. That bit about Owl, was interesting and made me like him more. It does make sense that Mission children can exist, glad he dislikes the Hyuga Elders.
Everything is about to go to hell in the village, and I feel guilty for looking forward to it.

Hmmmm...so many amazing tidbits throughout this chapter...I had to wait until I could spend uninterrupted time to truly give this story my full attention...so hopefully by now you have healed a bit more and are no longer a prisoner within your dwelling!
Even though, being a fan of Naruto manga and such, I had heard or read the elemental natures of chakra time and time again, the way that you described it along with having the two of them head into a spar that focused on those very natures made the info a delight to rehear.
Then there was the unique reasoning behind Kakashi's mask - and the dark history behind it that actually allowed you too wind in the shared past of the Hatake and Uzimaki clans. Again, the places your mind went in that topic was as refreshing as it was dark.
I was delighted to see that the medics are actually managing to find ways to help Naruto along the way, and it is interesting the way that you are using the curse of the werewolf to bring healing to others.
Later, when Remus and Kakashi were speaking about the other Kakashis through history, I couldn't help but be intrigued in how you managed to add that bit about the potential of the Raikage being related, as well as how you brought out just why Kakashi had been able to struggle for control against Silvertooth - and just why Moony has such a strong dislike for the jonin. Anyhow - I am eager to learn about just what mission Kakashi and Remus are needed for that it was deemed necessary for ANBU Mouse to fetch them at 1:30 in the morning instead of waiting for the next day...and, of course, I am hopeful that it won't be too much for Kakashi to handle...considering he still isn't one hundred percent healed yet...of course, it might provide the perfect opportunity for his own wolfish side to push forward...hmmm...see what you did to me?
I hope you're feeling much better - and that we'll being hearing more on the adventures of Remus and Kakashi...

Slash cant be boy/girl or man/woman, slash is per definition an homosexual relationship. If you are referring to a heterosexual pairing that isn't canon, the term is crack pairing.

Awesome fight, also I agree with you about the strength of a werewolf in PoA. I really hope kakashi don't get infected (slim to non chance, but still).
