D What an awesome idea for a story and what excellent execution! Every part of the story is interesting, both on its own and for how it interlocks with the other parts. I've never seen Stargate, but I had no problem connecting to any of the characters or understanding anything that was going on.
If you ever choose to pick up this story again, I'll read the heck out of it! If it's too old, then I'm grateful for these nine chapters; they have been *such* a pleasure to read. _

Side note: I love the last line in this chapter.

Good stuff! I like how each are willing to just let the other be and that anything happening for either doesn't immediately sell them on the idea of the other yet. Reasonable assumptions by the sgc! No arbitrary skepticism but still a reluctance to consider something that isn't supposed to. Be outside of work!
